Are you talking about any of the several different special permits? Got one in particular you're wondering about? I'm sure lots and lots of westside bucks have been killed during that time frame on those permit hunts.

should be busy with elk hunters (or used to be). Do you have an area picked out? Rayonier is supposed to make nearly the whole unit a permit area separate from the general permit. They have it mapped but I haven't heard they are selling for that area yet...think some is leased out still. Not sure if it will be more crowded since they sold the Kalaloch Ridge property.

The day the permits went up for sale it was listed and about an hour later it was pulled from the listing. Rumor has it that they sold the complete property. I called them a couple of weeks ago and all the lady could tell me was that the details hadn't been worked out yet. Whatever that means.

Forest investments associates is the new skidmore slew and kalaloch owners.... Company managing the land ,and selling permits, is American forest management.
