Post by: notsosneaky on July 16, 2016, 02:42:04 PM
Anyone have expierience with the nap killzones on a bull elk?
Thinking of switching this year.

Eta just realized this should go in bowhunting. Mods feel free to move.

I won't shoot expanding heads for elk. Had to many blades bend just in the foam broadhead targets. Shoot a good sharp fixed blade. Savora makes killer heads

I shoot a cow with a grimreaper last year , frontal shot absolute blood bath she went no where. Shoot a quality head that shoots well. Shot placement is the key  not so much the broad head. :twocents:

If a head bends from soft foam there is no way I'm shooting a big game animal. I have shot birds with them but not the same as big game.
