Post by: Bill W on July 18, 2016, 11:02:05 AM: It's also the back way into the Enchantments by going up the left side of your picture. That's where the Asgaard Pass "trail" is. I slipped down it one year in the snow and had a chance to talk to God.

Post by: pd on July 19, 2016, 09:40:02 AM: Although the face of Colchuck looks daunting (it is a full day climb, more than a dozen pitches), you can actually walk up to the top via the backside---the access is through the saddle on the left of your photograph.

Goats galore up there, no special equipment needed. Almost anybody could hike through the Enchantments.
