This is a really awesome hike!
-
It's also the back way into the Enchantments by going up the left side of your picture. That's where the Asgaard Pass "trail" is. I slipped down it one year in the snow and had a chance to talk to God.
-
Good to know! It is certainly beautiful there!
-
Want to make it there some day
-
Its really a good hike Bone! 4 miles relatively easy until is rains!
-
I was noting your weather. Wouldn't have wanted to be up there today. Blewitt got a couple inches of hail/ice. That might have been pucker city.
-
That is a great picture
-
It rained a lot on our way down....the trail becomes a stream. Thanks for the compliment seth, it is taken with my cell phone.

Although the face of Colchuck looks daunting (it is a full day climb, more than a dozen pitches), you can actually walk up to the top via the backside---the access is through the saddle on the left of your photograph.
Goats galore up there, no special equipment needed. Almost anybody could hike through the Enchantments.

That's sweet! That would be fun!
