Going to the area around castle rock for this seasons mod firearm elk season... Didnt see or hear a single elk, i saw a stupid BT doe who gave me a smug look as she sauntered away...
Heres to hoping their in there thick this year
anyone else go there last year or planning on it this year?

Hunted 520 the last 6 years pn the south side of riffe lake. They're still in there not as thick as they were but they are there. I do archery. Good luck. Lots of people during modern. You'll need a Weyerhaeuser permit for a big chunk of it.
