Title: Cabelas space rain gear
Post by: erk444 on August 29, 2016, 02:52:17 PM: Does anyone have any experience with this rain gear? Thought it looked like pretty good stuff so I bought the pants, but they were sold out of the jackets. Gotta wait till they get more in. It got pretty good reviews, but I thought I would ask here. And I really like the new O2 octane camo too.

Post by: HvyHorn338 on August 30, 2016, 03:27:23 PM: I had a set of this and was not very happy with it. It leaked relatively quick and it did not hold up very well. I've had better luck with the cheaper Red Ledge packable rain gear from Sportsman Whse.

Post by: erk444 on September 11, 2016, 06:28:52 PM: Well, I bought the pants and they kept me dry on a few hour hike through wet brush and grass. I was very impressed until I was 20 feet from the road I was parked on and I snagged them on a limb and tore them pretty good :bash:. I took them back to cabelas and they let me exchange them soooo....Im going to give them another try.
