Got some buddies that used to hunt Idaho and are goin back this year and gave me an invite, never hunted out of state so I'm Tryin to get some info to help us out.. This is all they have told me so far " we're goin to Section one mainly between sand point and bonners ferry on the Montana side." So I don't have much haha I can tell you we're bringing a wall tent and a camper which ever works we will use, we have dirt bikes if needed but willing to hike as far as needed, I believe they said this is a whitetail hunt just before thanksgiving. Anyhow and info on spots to check out to hunt and places near by to camp or just any related info would be appreciated, my buddies claim they got it under control haha but I would like to be prepared for whatever.

If you're in unit 1 you can buy a general deer tag and it is open for both mulies and whitetails at that time. Mulies are not as common as whitetails up there but they make some big ones in that country
