I don't own a shotgun currently and have been thinking of buying one.I know i want it to be auto loading,12 gauge and have all three types of barrel readily available for it a cantilever rifled slug barrel,24-28in field barrel and a 18in security barrel. The two i have been looking at so far are the Remington 11-87 and the Mossberg 930.

Whichever feels best, both good. Use these - tackdrivers out to 200 yards.

In my research apparently remington only makes the 20 gauge so that rules out the remington. I am leaning towards the mossberg anyway based on price of the gun and the fact that it's ported and the barrels are somewhere near half price.

Not true. I have two rifled slug barrels for my 12ga 11-87. 1 is a 21" cantilevered barrel and the other is also a rifled 21" with a rifle sight. I will sell you the rifle sight for $150, plus shipping from Socal. Let me know if you need pics of either one.
