Title: Lab training for waterfowl !!!
Post by: zdirtymax on September 21, 2016, 07:02:56 AM: Looking for more help in training my black lab to hunt and retrieve ducks. I've started with what I know and she's on the right path. If there is somewhere where I can send her or someone to help me that would be great. Live in Orting,wa anywhere remotely close. Thanks

Post by: Waldo84 on September 21, 2016, 02:06:43 PM: Are you looking to send your dog somewhere for a few months? Basic gun dog programs with professional trainers begin with a 3 month program to get your dog socialized, obedience trained correctly and collar conditioned/force fetched.

What training have you done with your dog to put them on the right path?

There is a great gundog trainer that I've sent my dogs to in Battle Ground.
