I put it off all last year but it's finally finished. A layer of nylon camo material 'quilted' to an outer layer of burlap and coated w/Thompsons Water Seal. Copper pipe frame that is only chin high when seated and folds up very compact.

Nice Job looks great!!! does it fold down or just trailer it the way it is?

Looks like it will work!

Folds up very compactly. Actually it folds down. .
I've got knob end bungees at the gunwale that wrap it all up in a tight package

Very nice! Reminds me I Still got to build 2 for my boats :bash:

Just curious why you choose copper over pvc or emt or other?

It looks like you've got a very nice setup there!

Wow, that looks very nice. Throw some natural cover on it when in the field and it's going to be a duck killer! Well done. When do we go? :chuckle:

Pvc will sag, copper keeps its form. That's my experience having used both.

Also, I soldered all the joints on the 3/4" copper. My other choice was EMT tubing but the cost was about the same only the joints wouldn't be near as strong as soldered joints plus the copper paints easily and/or naturally discolors to a dull brown and to top it off - it won't rust.
