I'm looking for access to some private property near the Granite Falls/Snohomish/Monroe area for the late deer season - to harvest a doe. I have time off near the end of the year and would like to spend a few days in the field with my 12 year old son. He developed an interest in hunting a little later than I'd hoped and I want to get a Doe on the ground to keep that spark alive. We've hunted Elk together but all the years I got one on the ground he was either sleeping back at camp or had not arrived yet. Several areas in the Sauk that have provide good results in the past have now been gated and in some cases you are no longer allowed in that spot. If you are interested please IM me - willing to stack fire wood, pay cash etc. Just let me know what your terms are. Thanks!

There is a little bit of public land in 407. Since it is limited you tend to see a ton of traffic ... hikers, horseback riders, recreational shooters, hunters, ATV/dirt bikes(even though they aren't allowed). So expect to be interrupted pretty much every day. There are a lot of recreational shooters in some of these areas and many shoot down the roads ... so be careful. If you have never used it, the GoHunt site is a good resource. http://apps.wdfw.wa.gov/gohunt/app.html?theme=bigGame (http://apps.wdfw.wa.gov/gohunt/app.html?theme=bigGame) and click on Basemap in the upper right corner and switch to Public/tribal land. Color codes can be found in "More info" if you click on Basemap again.

I appreciate the information! I don't normally hunt this side of the mountains.
