Post by: hambone on October 01, 2016, 09:08:20 PM
Just found out today the farmer thats has the land were i hunt is not letting any one hunt this year the area i hunt is down were the fire was just south of spokane his property didn't have any damage from the fire so i think he just wants to let any deer or elk not be pressured he has plenty of good feed on his land and i think he thinks he going to have a lot game move on his land sucks for this year but might be great for next year

Some of the best hunting spots I know of are on farms where the farmer "rests" the property in years of disease, extra poaching, fire, etc.  Like you say, really sucks for the time being, but can be great when you get access back.  Hope that happens for you next year!

I too lost permission to the land I've hunted the last few years.  Family squabbling, so the matriarch said "Nobody hunts".
Hope you can get back onto it next season.
