Title: Stormking Unit Success?
Post by: HoytHunter24 on October 04, 2016, 03:41:17 PM: Does anyone hunt the Stormking unit for archery elk? I saw the low harvest reports from 2015 and was hoping to hear how that unit is doing? I used to hunt blacktail in there before most of the roads were closed near Morton. I remember there being a fair amount of elk in there but never hunted it.

That's what I like to hear! The wife and I are looking to get deep on some of the closed roads for 3-4 day hunts at a time. We will be up scouting come this spring.

How is the access on the south end of the unit?
