Who's your pups out of?

Cost is pretty high to put a dog into the game. Most folks want to start with pretty high bred dogs to give them the best shot at being competitive. You should try it out with your breeding and see where you are at with your breeding program.

It's cheaper to have someone else do it and then use their success to market your pups. A fella in Seattle did exactly that however his world imploded when he produced a few litters that 4 month old pups that had to be put down do to severe hip dysplasia. His rationalization for blowing off hip checks was that his breeding stock was directly from pro field trialing kennels and champions.

Yes, it happens and sometimes with ofa work a litter might produce a bunch of broken pups. On different topic, will you make me a batch of your stake outs? I'd be up for buying 15 or so. I have some friends who want some and I'd like to have six.
