Post by: boneaddict on February 11, 2009, 07:19:48 AM
Hey Charlie( or any of the rest of you)  got any good pics of the back of your ped elk mount.  Thats the form I got, and have never done one before.  Not sure of how its supposed to look.

The dark brown one shows you what will happen if you dont blend the edges around the block  :bash: That is Garment quality leather $$$$$. The Buckskin is just split and being swaid you dont see imperfections as easy. You can add the rope to dress it up or just leave it simple. I like simple. Another pointer, see where the spray adhesive came through the Buckskin on the top of the mount? Make sure you dont put on too much adhesive. I had to redo that one  :bash:

I know I use to have some pic's of the backs of my Pedastals and Wall Pedastals but I can't find them.   :dunno:  I may have deleted them when I cleaned out some of my files.

Thanks Michelle, if you stumble upon them would love to see them.  Charlie posted some good ones though.  Exactly what I needed to see.
