Title: No luck this year
Post by: BB11b on October 10, 2016, 02:36:11 PM
Today is it ladies and gentlemen, went for one more chance on a bear. No sign no berries and it snowed on me. So it was a great year for my first bear hunting adventures. Can't wait until next year, hopefully I can seal the deal with a big boar. Thanks for your help with tips and advice along the way.

Why are you giving up early? The season is until November 15th. I took a Marine hunting Saturday I just met. We had a 6'6" bear around 350 plus pounds just off the road eating apples. It was his first ever bear hunt and the bear had his hind end twoard us. When it turned broadside it started to trot off. I told him, "Shoot shooooooooooottttttt!" He didn't fire a shot. We saw no fresh sign either because there isn't much this time of year. Point being the bear are still out and eating before winter. I know one thing, you can't kill one if you give up early. GET OUT THEIR AND KEEP AT IT. Patience and perseverance kills bears! Good luck and keep at it, it will eventually happen for you. God bless, and best of luck to you!!!!!!👍😁🐻

They are still moving. We have seen bears while hunting the late season modern rifle season.
