Title: Slide ridge Dec 1-8 archery
Post by: Fireman10 on October 17, 2016, 12:50:34 PM
I've got a Slide Ridge archery tag and would appreciate any help I could get.  I've only hunted it once before with my wife when she drew it with muzzle. Way too much snow that year to access anywhere. Bucks were all low and she only held out for 1 day before she couldn't take it any longer. Tagged out on a nice 4.  My questions have more to do about accessing area when the snow is deep. 25 mile creek? Entiat road??. I live in Yakima area and am more than happy to trade with info.

When the snow gets deep all the deer on the entiat side will be gone. Only real option with deep snow is to hunt the 25 mile creek wintering grounds.

+1 what UBA said. Sled for access and spotting, ski's or snow shoes from there. All depending on snow depth.
