Ok so my buddy has hinted for quite a few years now and has never killed a deer. I was wondering given public land and all of the rifle hunters would it be worth hunting north of Leavenworth? I am a blacktail hunter archery but got drawn multi season so I will be hunting as well, mainly to get him a deer. Any advice would be great I would love to try and kill a mule deer just haven't hunted them much. Would it be worth it? Thanks to all who help we will only be hunting Saturday due to prior obligations Sunday and work for my buddy. thanks to all!!! Shoot straight!

Its been a long time, but we used to hunt the back side of lake Wenatchee. there is a lot of land around there to hunt. It can get steep and nasty in places in hurry though. Some nice deer, but they are mulies.. If you are looking for "higher odds", mulies might not be the best bet.

Thanks for the quick reply! You use a boat to access the back side or purdy much walk? I have no problem burning some boot leather! I hate road hunting, anything to get away from people haha
