I went out yesterday and did a little scouting before the last weekend of MF. I'm glad I did because I saw some pretty decent, recent, and big rubs. I usually sit out on clearcuts but I decided I would try to go into timber. Way more sign in timber and in fact I went out today, went to the area with rubs and saw 1 doe cross in front of me and a decent spike cross behind me. I would've shot the spike but he got spooked to quick for me to get the rifle ready. All in all i'm just happy that I saw my first blacktail buck this year. Let me know what you guys think of these rubs. Hoping to get one down this weekend!

Remember where they are. Whoever did it will be bigger next year if he doesn't give you another chance this year and in my experience bucks tend to rub in the same area year after year.
