Good evening.
I'm curious about what a fair price would be for a run of the mill Chinese SKS in good condition would be.
It's been modified to accept Duck Bill (34 round) mags, but also comes with the factory hardware to revert if wanted.
How can I assess a fair price?
Thanks,
Dan

300-400 dollars maybe more if Hilary becomes president, every pawnshop is 350-399 right now,but have seen some people trying to make money at 500 ,asking amounts, and what u get are not the same

If it were me I'd wait to sell after the election...

Is it import marked?

Jay,
I don't know what import marked means.....I am not SKS savvy.
I bought several SKS's back at the time of the original Brady bill - my personal protest. So, these are pre-Brady Bill, if that matters.
Thanks all.

Do a search on here some one posed a pretty sweet sks forum that had all the info

Thanks all.parts
Many have the importers name engraved or dot matrix stamped on the barrel or maybe reciever.
Non import marked ones are more desirable and having the original parts is good.

The more people I talk to I'm keeping mine, the sks and ak-47 are two of the most reliable shooting guns out there. Not perfect on accuracy but very dependable. I bought mine probably 20 years ago, paid 86.00 for it from a gun store, wish I'd have bought 10 of them.
