Title: Entiat Late Deer
Post by: bigdub257 on October 31, 2016, 07:50:04 PM
Okay, so my son drew the late deer tag for this unit.  We are planning on hunting 11/5 through 11/12.  I have done a lot of research on where and how to hunt this unit and feel I have a pretty good handle on that (Mud Creek, Oklahoma Gulch, Potatoe Creek etc.) but any additional pointers would be appreciated!
My main question is this:  We will be hauling a small trailer over (approx. 22 feet) and I am looking for feedback on locations to park and setup camp.  Are there pull off areas along the the Entiat River Road where we could park?  Looks to be mostly private on Google Earth.  Thinking we may have to locate at Lake Chelan State Park?  Thanks for any input. Super stoked about this hunt!

Bottom of potatoe is your best bet. A few spots up mud.

Campground right on the river, can't miss it. http://www.chelanpud.org/parks-and-recreation/our-parks/parks-with-camping/entiat-city-park
