October 17th out hunting by myself, I come around this corner road hunting and see a this buck standing on the side of the road. I get out of my truck and load my rifle and take a shot and hit him in the front shoulder. He walks down the hill out of sight, so I began to walk up the road and I spot him between two stumps standing looking back at me. I shoot him again in the neck and he runs 15ft and falls over. I was began to walk down to him and I see he was a 5x5. And I wanna say thanks to older couple that help me get him back to my truck and now he's at the taxidermists getting a shoulder mount.

Congrats on a nice buck. Wish I had the luck of shooting one that close to the road. If the taxidermist is worth beans it's going to take him a while to finish him.
