Trout lake for my wind river cow tag. That was last week. Heading back in the morning. RickWe're in the same unit, hopefully we get some snow. Good luck!

I figured you'd recognize that place. I called in a 6 by 6 about 50 yards from the deck for kicks. I've never seen so many turkeys in all my life, up that road and all around that place. Very nice place and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We decided to stay there for my husband's quality elk permit in late Sept. I wanted a good secure place for our stuff and we were having friends popping in and out through out the week. Mike shot his elk 5 days into the 8 day hunt then we just chilled out the rest of the 3 days being tourist.Aaaahh, it was nice 8)
I Have stayed in that cabin! Was super cool, did you see much wildlife?

No, but I have driven off with it up there not tied down (and backed over it once). I made my bunk out of 2x4s and thin particle board. Man, is it more comfortable than laying on the folded down middle seats.

no but it does have a few scrapes in the lid. Most of the time it dosent ride there but that's where it goes once the bed is set up. I call it my bear proof tentMuzzy 2016.

Good luck on that cow tag. My brother and the guys did well this year, 2 spikes and a cow. Add my big bull and our group had a great year with 4 elk on the ground. Plus the 2 mulie bucks from deer season.
