It's November 6, I'm sure there's been a few late tags filled by now. Let's see them!
-
I think there are a few people holding out on us!😡 :bdid:
-
I'm also dying to see some
-
I am sure there have been some tags punched but the weather certainly hasn't cooperated for these guys. Looking forward to seeing some bruisers before it is all over!

No kidding. Was thinking the rain/cold the last week of October would get things going, but didn't wind up being quite cold enough to get snow. And now it's just way too warm. Supposed to be in the high 50's in Winthrop and Ardenvoir the next few days.
-
Nothing big yet, but yes tags have been filled. I bet there is a few bigguns down but have not surfaced yet.
-
Been seeing does with no bucks around. Sure has been warm.
-
I'll share; he was on a scrape line mid-day. My son was with me which made it all the better. Fun times.

-
Great buck! That's awesome you got to share it with your boy

My buck (first pic) was fighting another really nice buck when I shot it , pretty awesome there was sage and sand flying could probably hear it a mile away this was a hunt I'll never forget
-
You guys get drawn as a group im guessing?

Entiat Buck I took last Saturday. Shot him at 550 yds as he was about to go over a ridge top chasing Does, it was quick acting and he looked really good to me. I passed up one earlier in the same day that had more mass but smaller forks I think, the mass could be throwing me off but either way it was a good Buck for me. I wanted something with deeper forks and when I seen this guy I seen good forks and he looked wider than his ears, guess I just assumed he had the mass and size so I took the shot. There was a quite a bit ground shrinkage to say the least and I clearly need to work on my field judging lol but Im happy none the less. He is still a great Buck for me, I had my daughters along and my good buddy who came over on all the scouting and hunting trips for this hunt so it made the kill even better to share this moment with family and friends. I have the whole hunt from summer scouting to the kill shot and pack out all filmed and will be putting something together for whoever is interested in watching this hunt unfold. You guys that live up there have some beautiful country and some great hunting. It gets a little wild during the general season and makes you wonder how anything can live through such catastrophic event but apparently they do because Im thinking this Buck isn't a migrator but a local Buck. I did see a pile of small Bucks though, lots of forks, and threes, but in the end I shot the best buck I seen in all the scouting and hunting I did. Wish I could have seen it in its glory with a pile of snow over there but didn't work out that way. Hope you guys and gals enjoy!
-
Nothing wrong with that buck. Good successful hunt that you put time in on with friends and family and ended up with a dandy buck.

Hey good buddy its been a long time! I haven't had the time to get over and do that hunt yet, been devoting all my effort on this Entiat tag. Now that I filled this Buck tag I'm going to be switching gears towards Moose, running short on time!

-
Sweet, some fantastic bucks! Thanks all for sharing.

nice bucks for sure!

Nice buck. No snow makes it a bit tougher . I would say there is a 95% chance that thing isn't a local buck.

Thanks for the info, I wasn't for sure or not but I figured there might be some local guys that would have a better Idea. I have video of another good Buck that was hot on a Doe I'll try and post up when I get some stuff downloaded.

Not the monster I was dreaming of, but I am happy not to have to eat the tag. Was getting down to the wire, and I have to work this weekend...
-
Nice buck Pathfinder.
-
I was in chiwawa the last couple days just looking with the camera and trying to find a good buck for a tag holder. Slim pickings for me at least. My go to spots were pretty void of deer, think the first batch already migrated through and the next batch with the recent snow didn't arrive in time. Saw lots of doe herds with no bucks. Based on the amount of trucks and orange I saw yesterday, afraid there were a lot of disappointed hunters this year.
