Title: Diy hunt in canada

Looking for info from anybody who has hunted canada on there own. Looking to get a jump start on next years big hunt.  Any info will be much appreciated.

Almost positive that unless you are resident Canadian, you have to have a guide.

I pretty sure you don't need a guide for waterfowl. My coworker does Alberta every year. Farms give permission to them wherever they stop.

No guide needed.  Get a province map and talk to farmers.  Find the migration and stay on top of them.  Don't tear up the fields of you have to drive into them.

been up there twice on DYI in saskatchewan for upland and waterfowl

Knew a few farmers up there. Amazing hunting
