Title: Savage Lady Hunter .270
Post by: wannabhntr on November 27, 2016, 08:42:34 AM
I know this is probably a long shot, but I am wondering if anybody has a recipe for a Savage Lady Hunter in .270. I am looking to start reloading for my wife and just looking for a good place to start.

I use nothing but H4831 for my 270, but with a lightweight rifle like the Lady Hunter, you might want to use a faster powder for lighter recoil. Maybe IMR 4895 with a 130 grain bullet. Nosler data shows 46.0 grains max for a velocity of 2,960 with a 130 grain bullet.
