Lots of people and not alot of good bucks made it tough. Still had a good time though.
Here is a video I put together.

Cool video, my buddy who hunts it every years said this year was over run with with people. probably from all the publicity its been getting the last couple seasons.

Cool video. Thanks for sharing.
I got some pics of that big 150 class buck in your video as well. He is the biggest I've seen all season. I watched him get taken by those other guys you mentioned.
Hunted every day. Seeing 60-100 deer a day. I've seen 3 for sure legal bucks including him. A few others I'm sure were but couldn't tell for sure. Tons and tons of does and lots of small, non legal bucks. Not sure what the deal is.
The hunter numbers seemed pretty normal. I think I saw one guy in the field away from the roads.

Nice videography, to bad the kill shot didn't happen.

Great video, too bad there are so many inconsiderate "hunters"

never use to be as bad of an issue with "inconsiderate hunters" until the introduction of multi season tags. It sure has taken a turn for the worse!!!

Id like to see that hunt go to a draw. Make it a 100% draw but if you purchase the tag, thats the only tag you can hunt. I would like to see the same happen with the high hunt. It would relieve pressure in the high country, general seasons & the late seasons IMO

Can't make a 1% success rate a draw tag for the high hunt.

I agree with you here. Multi season tags should go too. Something has to give.

be interesting to see the 2016 success rate for late archery!

Lots of things need to give for awhile

That's a great video by the way, your one of the select few to see a quality buck this late bow season

I feel like that percentage would increase with fewer people up there.

We had two opp on that buck as well. Biggest we saw up there. I live in Wenatchee n look at Swakane daily first time hunting the late season. I don't know why any one would hunt that hunt there were no animals n hunters every where.

I have been hunting archery up there for ever. Before 9-11 I used to start from the Dam and go UP to the top. Deer all over the place and almost NO people. It was awesome. Even if you saw someone they had the same ethic as you. I still hunt it and its not even the same. Both ways. It does need to be fixed. Unfortunately its the pressure and poaching. I hate to admit it but the permit would be good OR Your going to hate me. Block off the spur roads. Make it more difficult and less pressure?? CORRECT??. I still go steep and deep to get away from the circus.

Could be that the earlier season was pretty bad. More people out trying to fill some tags that they typically would have done during the regular season :dunno:
