Any success stories this year?
-
Pretty quiet. Makes you wonder. :chuckle:
-
Nobody up there talks about the elk. Silence keeps people away.

I heard wolves howling almost every day... Does that count? :sry:

Luck beats skill up there

2012, I had a 6 point and half a dozen cows within 50 yards. Rainy day and the cap didn't go off. One of the cows busted me and they left in a hurry. How's that for a story? Still makes me sick.
And Bone is right

Looks like a wolf with collar, might be some elk in its digestive track. :chuckle:

I believe that's where Glen Berry shot his toad of a bull this year.

Canadians jumped their res and killed em all.

Saw this fellow a bit smaller last year and saw him while coyote hunting a few days ago, this year he's quite a bit bigger. Any tips on how I can get him within 20 yards for my primitive bow this late in the year will be greatly appreciated haha

Find him in September to start with :chuckle:
Then make it count, I doubt you'll get more than a chance at him. Hardest area to hunt elk with a primitive weapon... Good luck :chuckle:
