Any luck in the wind
-
Saw the most deer I've seen in years this year ( which isn't saying much !) Nothing big but promising for the future.

I always like to keep tabs on the wind. The trophy potential is great for the late hunt, not so good for the general hunt, but there is a few, not many big old black tails cruising those steep hills.

don't hunt the wind much, I'm in the unit alot though, during the rut I was coming off ole man pass at about 11 at night in the lowboy and had a 4 pt. dandy pig of a buck standing in the middle of the road, he must have been so stiff he cpuldn't move as I had to come to a complete stop! I travel through that country at night and early morning alot there defitnaly is some trophy qauility in there.
