I am looking for feed back from real owners. I know they are a cheap rifle, some reviews say they are great buy for the money, other say your wasting $350 bucks.

Sitting next to a gunsmith that worked down at CountyLine for a time. He loves his and is planning to order a 2nd for his youngest.
Myself, I have the MVP Scout in .308. I like it just fine, but it's the only bolt action I've ever owned. I like the versatility and the short barrel.

Thanks Mud. I have many other bolt guns but I am looking for a okay to keep it in the truck, snow and rain gun, that will still get the job done.

From all the research I did it is well reviewed as the best economy gun out there. If your not looking for a bench rest competition gun they seem like they made a winner. I'm looking at picking up a .300 win mag myself.

Biggfish the 300 win is what I am looking at. I have always wanted one. I shoot competitive trap and have spend a lot of dough on shotguns, but I use them 2-3 times a week. I have a hard time dropping $1200 on a gun I will shot 4 times a year. I know it will not shoot sub moa, but again I am not a rifle competitor

His 13yo daughter toted the Patriot .243 around during deer season. He liked how well it held up in the wet weather and any of her trips/spills/stumbles through the woods. His only regret was not planning ahead for an elk caliber.
Thanks Mud. I have many other bolt guns but I am looking for a okay to keep it in the truck, snow and rain gun, that will still get the job done.

Mossberg youth 100 in 7mm-08 has netted my daughter 3 bucks in the last 4 years. No detachable mag or spiral bolt but a solid accurate rifle.
