Title: Stalkin' yotes
Post by: DJ_Mack on December 30, 2016, 08:58:45 PM
Was out chasing some dogs this week and was getting a little frustrated by the ones that would howl or bark back at me but not come in. So I left my call playing which kept the coyote talking and put the stalk on.  Found out that when it sounds like a coyote is just behind the trees or over a knoll, they are lot farther out than that.  It was a good thing I had my binoculars with me because I would not have ever seen him if I didn't have them. How many of you guys will stalk down coyotes that your hear? Any techniques for bringing in the ones that will talk but keep their distance?  Thanks.

Change your calling sequence or the sound if they hang up,
