I don't get it, I thought all firearm checks went through the FBI system, it sounds like several states do their own checks instead?

I'm really confused how infringements were advanced in Washington and the Urine Colored State but failed in Nevada, especially when ti seems as though the Nevada law crafted after I-594. IIRC the Fan Belt Inspectors basically told the state of Nevada to go jump in a lake insofaras requesting that an NCIC check be made available to a state agency(?) :dunno:
