Title: Browning Gold Hunter ISO
Post by: tmike on January 01, 2017, 10:49:58 PM
I'm looking at possibly picking up a BGH 3" 12 ga.The friends that have them really like them and put a lot of rounds through them. If you have one any opinions? Also if you have any ideas where I might find one I can get my hands on? I live in the Maple Valley area. Thanks for the input.

I have one.   Very nice gun.  It's beautiful.  Only negative is that it fouls pretty easily.  You have to deep clean the action well.  I notice more switching from shooting the bigs (3.5 inch) then jumping down to low base around the house.  If not cleaned real well, the action won't cycle the low base trap loads I'm using on starlings.

I was reading that the 3.5 had trouble with the lighter loads, but the 3 inch was better. Keeping them clean (like most semi autos) is important to. They look fairly easy to take apart. I'll run across one sooner or later.
