Never fails. A week out of season for me and I happen upon 35 head just hanging out. It was pretty cool though I had my 3 daughters with me and nothing is better than watching their eyes get wide and mouths drop open. As soon as we turned the corner and headed down the road they busted across the fence and up into the jack firs. Not in any real hurry though so it was cool to let the kids watch them wonder up in the timber.

Beautiful animals...just a week too late :)
-
:bash: :bash: :bash: obviously they read the regs :chuckle:
-
only a few spikes, I'm sure what is left of any bulls are still deep in the bush hiding.
-
They are probably the only ones in the woods that have the regs and seasons ingrained in their brains.

Half of my being wants to laugh at this post.

Happens all the time to me, the day after elk closed.
-
I don't think they read the refs, I think they write them :bash:
-
albeit cool to see though love seeing wildlife weather it's season or not.
-
you know that they get a copy of the regs right ?
-
Im glad that you didn't hit them like I did. At least you and your family are safe, seeing them is a lot better.
-
This is the one that did it.
