I think they are silly.
But might be fun for shooting rock chucks.

I've shot an AR with a CMG flat trigger with hook that was pretty light. I think it was 3.5lbs or so. I figured out how to bump fire it by just not gripping the gun to tight. Really hard to aim. I got a couple of nice 3 shot bumps and one 8 shot bump. Only 3 round bumps were remotely accurate.

Here's something if you wanna go a little cheaper side of things and still burn up some ammo, turn your ar15 into a gatling gun

I put that exact one on a M&P 15-22, also has a CMC 3lb trigger, and it's a hoot to shoot!!! It'll buzz through a 25rnd mag lickity split and will burn up ammo faster than anything I've ever owned, that for sure. I wouldn't really consider it very practical and I don't know that I'd ever put it on any of my AR's but on the little M&P 15-22 it's a lot of fun. It's kinda one of those novelty items but after you figure out how to run them, it's the closest thing to FA a regular Joe can get, legally, and they do work pretty darn well.
