Title: 173" Mulie and 2 other Eastside Bucks (BlackRiver Taxidermy)
Post by: BlackRiverTaxidermy on January 18, 2017, 06:52:12 PM
A couple of standouts this week. First one is a hunters first deer with a tall set of headgear and a real pretty cape on it. Second is a non-typical buck also being a young mans first deer, and the third is..well, a stud! He scored in at 173 7/8, 164 1/8 NET (nets are for fish however!) All general season, eastside bucks. Sorry for the photo quality...need to invest in a good camera! Congrats to all the hunters and thank you for the work.
Enjoy-Joel/BRT

That's a BIG buck!  IMHO mass doesn't get enough respect in B&C scoring.

Beautiful mounts, first off, amazing work  And you're exactly correct @DOUBLELUNG Buck I shot this year scored 181 6/8 for Boone and Crockett, and he carried mass all the way through, but mass on the individual tines doesn't get counted for anything, if they counted each tines mass scores would go up a lot
