Starting to put together a materials list for what I am going to need. I am having trouble finding a source that sells cheap round bar for doors and frames for live traps. As well as channel bar or angle Iron. Located SW Washington. If someone wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!
These traps will not be for sale, just personal use.

What diameter or gauge?

Do you have a local farmers coop or grain growers? I get my metal for most of my stuff from them. Unfortunately nobody around here carries carbon steel but any type of cold rolled steel you could imagine is everywhere

It was my brothers buck that he shot, it is still the archery junior state record for Washington I believe. It was on the cover of the fish and game regs a few years back!

I knew I'd seen it somewhere, nice buck. War was its score?

Trying to find it cheap! Quantity is a lot so I am really trying to minimize my costs.

If you want it cheap. You must order more than you want. I alway order 600 ft of 5/16" and 300 to 400 ft of 1/4 round stock. Hope this helps. Email them and get a Quote.

I buy from Haskins steel here in Spokane. 1/4" cold rolled is less than $4 for 20' stick

Chehalis Steel is the best price I found but I bought a lot. Any steel supplier in your area should have what you want.
