Title: NWCO Permit Report -
Post by: Cylvertip on January 19, 2017, 01:52:28 PM
This is an interesting one-
I sent in an application for a nuisance permit for beaver in mid November.  Just after I submitted the permit, the client requested that I hold off as they had been in contact with WDFW to catch an injured bear that was on the property ( supposedly it was running around with a snare on it's foot) Anyway, they wanted me to hold off for a while.  For some reason, I never received feedback ( approved permit or explanation for a declined permit or otherwise) from WDFW on my application With the situation, I did not pursue it further.  Fast forward to two weeks ago, I got an email that I was late on the report for a permit???   I wrote back and stated that I had not received a permit, but I had put in an application.  They quickly forwarded me a copy of my application and again requested that I complete the delinquent report.  I replied and let them know that there was no report as there was no permit sent to me (email or otherwise).  The response I got was a request to go ahead and fill out the report as "did not trap"  and to send it in so they could clear my flag on my file.  Now that all seems easy enough, but the principle of the matter is bugging me to no end. :bash: :bash:  I will most likely fill in a report on a permit I do not have (still have not seen anything) which in my mind in a way is falsifying information so they can clean their books. Again, bugs me  :dunno: :dunno:

Looking again at the last response to me, they have included the permit on it and have shown that an attempt at sending me an email was made in mid November.  What I don't see on the email header from November is if there were any attachements on it.  An addtional interesting tidbit is that the email header shows 11/15, but the permit was signed/ shows being signed on 11/16.   Again, I never received anything in November.   :bash:
