Title: Midway USA
Post by: biggfish on February 02, 2017, 02:13:42 AM
Midway has some great stuff on clearance right now. I picked up some a bunch of Hornady muzzleloader bullets in mixed variety over 100 bullets 68 including shipping. Not usually the time out year I stalk up on stuff but prices are good.

I like ordering from them. If something is not in stock, they usually get it in quick if available.
Always fast shipping.

Been ordering from them at least 25 years now.

One thing a like about them is that you can send an email to the owner Larry Potterfield and he responds within a few days.

Just think if they get stolen you just saved$180 bucks.  :chuckle:

I'm going to use them at home to see the cougar that keeps visiting us, and hopeful see the nocturnal bucks that cruise thru my pasture, then when my deer area thaws out I'll put them up. I never used any before, it's going to be fun.

They can't get here fast enough, just was watching a doe in the lower pasture. She was really nervous of her back trail, I looked away she was gone then came bolting out of the woods in a flat out run. Something was following her.  :bash:

Just use large zip ties. That's what I use anyways. I usually throw the strap that comes with them away.

A lot of the wild game innovations cams can't be python locked, the attachment points are too narrow.

Larry Potterfield is the devil and a hustler, this thread is proof!  :chuckle:

I've spent more money on Midway over the years than I probably will on my kids' college tuition. The trick is to buy everything from Midway using a Cabelas credit card to rack up Cabelas points. Then you can use the Cabelas points to buy a new gun, then go back to Midway to buy reloading stuff for the new gun. It's a vicious cycle and I blame Larry Potterfield!

The $90 includes the shipping unless you have a free shipping code. Even if you pay shipping it's stupid cheap. If you own an12 GA and don't have a bunch of this stuff your dumb.

Bought 4 Bushnell trailcams for $24.99 each lst night.

They shipped this morning.

My old cams have been failing, so this timing is awesome.

I'm a fan of many cheap cams over a few expensive ones, but that's just me.

Yup, bought 2 myself ... then bought 2 of these... funny ..I paid more for the lock boxes than I did for the cameras.

I'm thinking of painting these guys up a bit. Taping the camera/lights up then trying some rattle can camo to make em a bit less obvious.

I spray painted both the camera and the straps to cam them up.

Cameras were easym. Taped over lenses and the cut a stencil and painted away.

Straps were more difficult. Brack nylon weave hides a lot of paint.
