Morning HW. Made a post about my bushnell elite 4200 failing me in the field. I was desperately looking for a new scope at stores since the scope failed me on opening day of modern. Store's were packed items were sold out or no longer in Stock, never thought it was that crazy during hunting season. Anyways long story short I ended up borrowing my father's rifle and tagged out, sent the elite 4200 in for repair thinking at most they would just fix it. They sent me a post card saying they received it along with repair number to be able to keep up to date on the status. A week later I received a box at my door, I was like no way they repaired it that quick since they said turnaround time is 3-5 weeks. Opened it up and I was shocked to see a brand new bushnell elite 4500 2.5-10x. I was happy almost like a little kid. Thx bushnell. Sorry for the long post, always hear about vortex and leupold warranty so just had to post about bushnell.

Good for you.
I'm only surprised that the 4200 let you down.

That's good to know. I have two of the Bushnell 4200's. They're great scopes. I'm also surprised you had an issue with it. What exactly happened to it?

Hunting in the rain on openin day. Inside lense fogged up and never went away. Had the scope on my 7 mag for about 5 years. Was nice scope that got the job done, held zero. It wasn't the first time I hunted with it in the rain so I was shocked it failed as well.

Wish I had this experience....I sent in a pair of Bushnell trophy binos and they said they couldn't fix them it was outdated and they would give me a discount on a new pair of whatever I wanted....Wouldn't be to bad if the binos I have didnt say lifetime warranty :bash:
