shopping for a young woman, she's pretty well full size stands about 5'7" plays a lot of sports so she's fairly strong.
Browning BPS is on the short list. Looking for new most likely, or flawless used. It's a gift.
Pointer shotguns? The fit/finish was rough, the break lever wasn't real smooth either. I came across a 12g in north40 that looked serviceable, but hesitant to buy it.
Haven't looked at Auto's
I'm thinking an over/under would be a great choice if she got into trap as they have a pretty active club here, and it would be fine for upland as well. She might even waterfowl it but that would be rare. Need a lighter weight one.

BPS youth model. They're ambidextrous. Safety on top and it ejects out the bottom. Bought it for my wife as she shoots left handed and then I can use it too. It's a great little 20 ga.

Another vote for the BPS youth. Comes with a spacer system to adjust LOP. I picked one up for my daughter a couple years ago. She's been using it to hammer turkeys.
