Title: Please sign this petition for the Cowlitz
Post by: Mark Youngblood on February 14, 2017, 06:59:24 PM: I am asking for everyone's help to please sign this petition even if you do not fish the Cowlitz...it could happen to a river close to you very soon. There is a full explanation on facebook on the "restore the Cowlitz" page..basically we are asking them to produce hatchery fish again like they once did..here is a link to the petition..it only takes a minute or 2..

My co worker lives on the river, said last fish count was 4 fish? Really! Knew it was coming, here it is! Bolt decision believers, gill net fishers, resource rapist!

I took my boat down to Mossyrock today to get the jet pump put on and took a drive to Blue Creek....4 boat trailers in parking lot and 5 vehicles of what I expect are bank fishermen. I talked to 1 boat and they said they had not seen or caught anything. River is very off color with maybe 18 inches of vis.

Post by: Mark Youngblood on February 18, 2017, 03:44:37 PM: Thanks everyone..every signature counts as it shows that there are people who care and who VOTE.... these signatures along with a group of gentlemen and some video testimony meet with a senator Monday to get the ball rolling.... no idea what will happen or how long it will take but we have to try....the squeaky wheel gets greased! Its time wdfw and Tacoma Power are held accountable to the people who pay the bills.... I was at the Cowlitz this am, probably 25 boats and maybe 40 bankies, heard of 5 fish caught but WDFW was present checking for barbed hooks just in case!
