Title: Tikka Laminated SS T3 or T3X
Post by: gee_unit360 on February 24, 2017, 03:58:22 PM
Does anyone use a Tikka T3 or T3X with the laminated stock? If so, is it worth the extra money? Is it too heavy? Do you prefer them over the synthetic stocks? Im open to opinions on why a synthetic stock would be better as well. I want a stock that can handle severe rain and snow and prefer the look of the laminated stock over the plastic or other variations of synthetic stocks. Thanks.

I have the T3 in 7mm mag with the laminated stock.  It serves 3 purposes: 1). I like the extra weight for off hand shooting and it takes the recoil2). It is totally weather proof. 3). It looks REALLY good.

I think it was totally worth the extra $$.  Of course the if you're going to have a laminated stock, it only makes sense to get a stainless barrel too.  I have both and love it!  What caliber rifle are you looking at?  A magnum?

T3 and T3x have differences.  I "think" the t3x is available laminated.
