Title: calling yotes...unexpected visitors showed up

went out this last saturday around Pe Ell trying to call in some yotes.  first stand we set up on a cut with some real tall/thick reprod about 200 yards downhill.  about 2 minutes after we started with some howls/ki yi's a group of 10 elk came busting out of the reprod and stood around looking in our direction to see what the commotion was about...guess we are using the wrong type of calls during elk season-yes i know you can't use electronic calls when hunting for them but thought it was cool anyway.  lots of snow but didn't call any dogs in

Yes you can use e calls for elk. Not deer.

called lots of deer in over the years, using predator calls.
