Hi ill be down in the area Sunday and was wondering if anyone wants to head out for some fishing. In not from around the area but have all the gear to do so. Thanks

What are you fishing for? I am in Montana so won't be able to go, but you can entice someone with more information

Are you bank fishing? You could fish County line park or willow Grove park.

I would be bank fishing and I'm thinking about trying some plunking on the cowlitz or Columbia. But if there's something else to do? I'm interested in all types.

Cowlitz is running pretty high and murky right now, I've heard of a few fish picked up, but the river needs to drop quite abit to realy be fishable. As fowl smaker said, county line or willow grove would be about the only options right now for plunking. The water is high, but you would still want to keep it in tight to the bank, at county line you would be fishing in close to the trees. I haven't been up on the kalama for awhile but if the color looks good it should still be holding a few winter run. With the smelt tease we had the lower cowlitz might be holding some sturgeon if you don't mind C&R. The local lakes, Sacajawea and Kress, recieved some trout plants in january if the cormorants haven't got em all yet and Silver may still be kicking out some crappie.
