My pistol apparently broke on the inside chamber. Pretty sure this will be expensive to replace. Probably more than the gun is worth. But it is my first gun I've ever owned so I kinda wanna preserve it (I also wanna upgrade on a more reliable handgun.) How do you post a pic on this site? I want you're guys advice. I'm really bummed out on how it broke on me.

Thanks, I feel stupid missing that attachments button.

If I slide the gun back it doesn't lock back into place correctly given where the break is.

Please attach a focused picture of the whole gun in full light - no shadows. One with the action open and one with it closed. If there's broken metal, point that out.
-
Make and model would help also, is the slide damaged or just the barrel?

I'm taking it to a gun smith tomorrow morning so it is what it is, just sucks. It's a bursa thunder .380

A new barrel online is about $80, and it is only held in with a pin. I would look into out after the gun smith figures out what's wrong. Good luck my local gun smith (and only one within reasonable distance) won't take in anything he considers a throw away gun and Bersa is on his list anyway.

It's in Wiley McDonalds hands now, he's the gun smith my usual guy referred me to. He said he would call me if it's an unreasonable price to fix it. Guys shop was busy and he has good reviews. I am happy to pay to get it fixed, just hope it doesn't set me back too much, considering it isn't a very valuable gun and I could use that money to just upgrade instead.

If it is just the chamber a barrel swap will fix it from a smith I'd guess it would be around $150 parts and labor.
