Has anybody been to Brown's Hike Lake between Mt. Ellinor and Mt. Pershing, above lake Cushman?

Possibly also called Crazy Man Lake, the headwaters of Jefferson creek, anybody?

Haven't been there in years. We called it Ellinor lake.

Awesome, thats what i thought it was called until i looked on google earth.
Did you get there from where the road crosses jefferson creek down below? Any trail or bushwackin? Thanks
-
Oh yeah, any fish in there?
-
We stocked it 4 yrs ago with 400 RB

When we went in their it was 20 years ago and brushy. Don't know how good the road is above Jefferson Lake to get in there.
-
I was up that road and parked at the crossing to hunt goats in 2014 to get onto Mt. Pershing. Roads good, still brushy on the hillside but the lake might be a good basecamp for goat huntin if drawn.

I've dropped in from Ellinor, contouring around. It's not a route I'd recommend unless you have climbing gear. For a goat base camp I'd suggest the unnamed Lake off of Jefferson Ridge or the rocks just below the vegatated slaps on Pershing. Lake Ellinor up to the goats would be pretty sketchy.
