Title: Model 1907 351 Winchester
Post by: Alex4200 on March 31, 2017, 05:20:46 PM
I have one of these that has been sitting around for some time. It was my Grandfathers ranch gun. I think the last time I shot it was in the '70's. Just couldn't find ammo for it. On a whim I got checking around the internet for ammo. It looks like both cheaper than dirt and midway USA have new production runs of ammo for this gun. I am going to go through the gun and do some cleaning, lubeing, and inspecting of the gun. My question to everyone out there is there anything on the gun I should be watching out for? Also, anything to watch out for with this fresh run of ammo?

You can check with Buffalo Arms for ammo also. They carry all types of obsolete and hard to find ammo.
I own a model 1910 401 WSL,  lots of fun to shoot, easy to maintain. Take down is simple, just loosen the screw at the back of the receiver and tap the rifle apart. No further take down is necessary.  To lock the action open,
press the plunger down and give it a quarter turn. To close, reverse.
