Wondering if anyone has a recent report on the Yakima, specifically through the canyon? Looks like it's up above 4k cfs. Wonder if it's still fishing and if the Skwala's are up yet?
Headed over this weekend for some other stuff, but we made time to do a little fishing on Sunday afternoon before we head home.
Thanks in advance.

No info on the river conditions but make sure you park where you can see your truck :sry:

Staying at Red's. Just looked at their website and the last report was 2 weeks ago. Maybe they update FB but not their website?
Thanks for that.

Thanks for that. I just looked and Red's has updated reports on FB. Looks like skwala's are on.

I haven't personally fished it but have several friends that guide it. Skwalas are on the move, a little later than normal, but there none the less. Fishing below Wilson Creek has been tough because of clarity. The high water is actually helping that some. Turds and worms tight to the bank and skwala dries when applicable. It hasn't been consistent dry fly fishing, but has been worthy when it is happening.

Ellensburg Angler does a daily update it seems like via Instagram. Drove along Hwy 10 to Cle Elum last week and it was moving fast and pretty high below the Teanway, clarity looked decent but not great.

Nailed it.
We didn't fish. The river was barfing. Wilson Creek was over 1k cfs. That and all the other little feeders blowing mud ruined the river. It was on fire the 3 days before we got there though. Figures.
