I picked up a Tetra lead removing cloth last night and got to check it out and see how well it removes carbon from a revolver cylinder. It took a lot off but there's more to go to make it look new. I'll work on it again tonight after I get home. The carbon's been baked on starting around 1990 or so. I'd expect a bunch of wiping to remove it all.

I have used the Kleenbore, cloth, they work well. My personal favorite is Mothers mag wheel cleaner, comes in a little jar for about 3 bucks. I think it works best of all. quick and easy.
