Title: Ducklings!

I finally saw my first clutch of the season. Tiny little freshies hugging there Mama's butt. Usually I start to see them by mid to late March but not this miserable spring. I've also seen several groups of drake mallards harassing hens in the last week or 2. Perhaps things are further along outside the city. Hopefully this wet spring will translate to good bird numbers come October.

I've got a wood duck that's been in a nest box for quite a while. I sure hope to see lots of ducklings soon.
